Client Overview

SaaS product company in the education sector building customer-facing digital platforms.

Role Focus

• Build internal tooling, frameworks, and “paved road” infrastructure
  • Standardize and accelerate development across teams

Engineering Expectations

• Strong system design and developer experience focus
  • Build reusable building blocks
  • Work on automation, internal libraries, CI/CD enablement
  • Enable AI-assisted / agent-driven workflows

General Expectations

• Senior engineer (hands-on, not pure architect)
  • Strong system design capabilities
  • Experience with cloud-native, distributed systems
  • High autonomy and ability to challenge decisions
  • Openness to AI-assisted development (Codex, Claude, etc.)
  • Nice to have: AI-first workflows (e.g., spec-driven development)
  • Background should be in Java or Node.js with knowledge of front end (React).

Working Model

• Overlap with US East Coast
  • Approx. 10:00 – 20:00 RO time
