Client Overview

SaaS product company in the education sector building customer-facing digital platforms.

Role Focus

• Build and evolve customer-facing SaaS products
  • Strong collaboration with Product
  • Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

Engineering Expectations

• Clean architecture and maintainability
  • Full-stack thinking (backend + frontend understanding)
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and CI/CD practices
  • Manage technical debt while delivering features
  • Background should be in Java or Node.js with knowledge of front end (React).

General Expectations

• Senior engineer (hands-on, not pure architect)
  • Strong system design capabilities
  • Experience with cloud-native, distributed systems
  • High autonomy and ability to challenge decisions
  • Openness to AI-assisted development (Codex, Claude, etc.)
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development (e.g. Copilot, Codex, Claude)
  • Nice to have: AI-first workflows (e.g., spec-driven development)

Working Model

• Overlap with US East Coast
  • Approx. 10:00 – 20:00 RO time
